Arugula

What an odd title, you say? Indeed it is. Arugula is my cry of distress, battle cry, and cry of excitement/joy.  Sometimes I modify it slightly to “Rugula!” or something of the likes.

When are the best times for using arugula, you ask? Maybe when someone wants you to design their blog (Anika, C., Julia). Or perhaps when you are finally satisfied with the design of your own blog.

Or, perhaps when you get 300 followers.

Now I’m not normally very vocal when I’m looking at the computer screen, but yesterday when I was working on my blog, I saw that I had 302 followers.

Me: “Aragula! I have 300 followers!”

That’s pretty impressive, I must say. THREE HUNDRED FOLLOWERS? Like… like… I JUST GOT TO 100 IN APRIL! AND THAT WAS AFTER BLOGGING FOR TWO YEARS!

I’m very amazed that in one fourth of the time it took to get 100 followers I got 200 more. That’s unbelieveable!

Well, actually it isn’t. My sister, Allison, got featured on Discover and gained over 1,000 followers from that. And guess what? When she got interviewed by a WordPress person, she mentioned ME! 😮

Now. What am I going to do for a celebration? To tell you the truth, I don’t exactly know. I’m formulating a small plan as I type, but I’m not sure it will work. So for now, I guess this is just a thank you post. 🙂

Ooh! That reminds me, I made up a word. It’s ‘femh’. Can anyone guess what it stands for? (Here’s a hint: Forgotten ______ ______ hours)

    That’s awesome, Megan! And I love the look of the blogs you design. It was pretty funny, because I was looking through them, and I was like “COOL! I have those watercolor flowers downloaded too!” 😀

        True . . . ooh, cool! I'll have to look around for some nice ones that are a good price that won't blow me off the face of the earth. 😛 😉 Not that I'll probably buy them — I'm yet to spend money on my blog and I really want to keep it that way! 😀 #teenagemoneyproblems

      1. 😉 😀 Yeah.. MAYBE! :O 😀 I got a ton more followers from Allison Mentioning me- that was super nice of her. But no matter how many hundreds of followers I have, I won’t forget those first few that I got, and the ones that have stuck with me through the years of blogging! 🙂 The ones who have actually commented and socialized with me!
