Time for another diary entry by my Holland Lop, Clementine! I hope you enjoy this month’s entry. 🙂 Continue reading “The Diary of Clementine – Entry #13”
Hello everyone! Clementine the amazing here. I forgot about those bunny sunglasses, I need to make Megan buy some soon. I am now writing my dozenenth (that’s not a word but it should be) entry, and you should be honored to be reading it. Continue reading “The Diary of Clementine ~ Entry #12”
Woah… I can’t think of any better title. Hehe.
Anyway, Allison and I did a photoshoot of each other a few weeks ago, and now I’m posting the pictures I got. (Well obviously, Megan.) If you want to see the pictures Allison got of me you can go here. Continue reading “Experimental Photoshoot in an Alfalfa Field”
Hello guys! Today I have a lyric photo shoot starring the lovely Lily. 🙂
I’ve gathered together some photos I’ve taken in September so far. 🙂
Okay guys. I’ve got something to tell you. It’s not about me, Clementine, but it’s still pretty exciting.
I don’t have anything in particular to show you about the bunnies, just some bunny pictures. Shall we begin? 🙂 Continue reading “Bunnies, Just Bunnies”
Hello fans! If you’d like to read my other diary entries, please go here.
Ready for more bunny cuteness? Alright then. Let me start with some things about each of the bunnies. Continue reading “The Diary of Clementine ~ Entry 7”
Hello everyone! 😀
Which should be first, the Babbit in or Fashion Fail? I’ll do the Babbit Inn.
March has come in like a lion. Tuesday was rather windy, Wednesday was in the thirties, on Thursday it snowed, and on Friday it didn’t get above 45. Right now it is hanging around forty.
Anyway, on Sunday it was marvelous! Our cousin walked home with us from our grandmother’s house and after a few tears from a Carmen that needed to go to take a nap, we ran outside to get some rabbits. All of them got at least an hour outside in the sunshine. Only Clementine needed a leash, the rest just stayed in the shade of the umbrellas, venturing out every now and then.
Ready for some pictures?
A bunny day is…
… riding in wheel barrows…
…being held rather awkwardly…
…lying in the shade of an umbrella…
…giving humans ‘the look’ when they put earthworms on your head…
… being cool with the humans…
… sniffing cameras…
… modeling for mud rabbits…
… and that’s a bunny day!
I loved writing that! 😀 We had so much fun last Sunday. 🙂 I can’t wait for warm weather, brownie stands, flowers, and… come quickly spring!
To wrap this up, how about a quick cloud collage?
Are you looking forwards to spring?
Which do you like better, daffodils or tulips? I think I lean slightly towards tulips because there’s more variety, but I love the sunniness of bright yellow daffodils!
Aren’t I great at long titles? 😄
Most of you know that my sister has an Etsy shop! If you don’t then you can check it out by clicking on that yellow word way back there that is getting farther and farther away as I type. 😛
Anyway, I wanted to do a review on one of her things! Since I’m her sister and all, I just took the pictures and gave it back. 🙂 It’s available in her shop. (At least it is as I type!)
I will start with the packaging. It will come in little baggies (one for the stump, one for the animals) with her logo on the top. Here’s a photo. 🙂
First, lets do the stump. Hehe!
The stump is named Bernie. 😄 Everything in Allison’s shop (well, not the jewelry) has a name!
It has a marbled top which has a spiral cut into it.
There are three cute little knobs on the bark of the stump. She gave them a realistic effect by making the top of them different colored; it even has a teensy spiral! The bark is also textured with lines.
Here it is in comparison to my hand.
It actually isn’t pure polymer clay-it has a center of tin foil which makes it much lighter to hold.
Here is a photo of the bottom of the stump. It has a small hole at the bottom. 🙂
Now. Moving on to the animals! Let’s start with Heather, the hedgehog. Here is Allison’s description on her Etsy shop:
Heather the hedgehog loves meadows and flowers and beautiful things. Her body is ever so slightly marbled, but she, to her everlasting sorrow, does not sparkle. Heather is quite the petite hedgehog – she is only 1 centimeter high.
Her face is terribly cute, just look at it! 😀
The brown part of her body is lined to look more – uh – spikey! 😀
Look at her cute lil’ feet! Agh! 🙂 And there’s that adorable smile!
Moving on to the rabbit…
Here is Harold’s description:
Harold the rabbit is a very perky little guy, but also quite cautious, being a bunny. He is made with stone-texture polymer clay to give him a more realistic fur effect. The clay has a slight sparkle. He measures approximately 3.5 centimeters from his cottontail to the tip of his raised ear.
Look at his ears! Aren’t they just adorable? And his nose! Eeee!
If you lay him down you can see that he has two smaller feet in the front and two longer feet in the back – just like a real rabbit! You can see his tail here to.
Here is the back of him. See how speckled he is? And his tail! 😄
The last critter is the squirrel, Charlie.
Charlie the squirrel loves to eat – acorns are his favorite. Charlie is also made with stone-texture polymer clay, and he too has a bit of a sparkle about him. He stands about 2 centimeters tall.
Charlie’s small paws rest on his white belly. You can see a bit of his feet also.
From the top his tail looks just as big as his body is! His fur is similar to Harold’s, just a bit grayer and has more shimmer.
Here are his feet and where the tail attaches.
If you were wondering about the size of these critters, here they all are perched quite comfortably on my palm.
One last photo (I guess it’s kind of a collage) of them on the stump. Bernie has his limits; even he, big and strong as he is, can’t fit all of the animals very well. They prefer two on the stump and one beside him. 🙂
Wow, this is a long post! If I have convinced you to buy it, go HERE. I guess I’ll only be able to convince one person though- there is only one of this cute set!
Here is a collage of some other things. She took the photos of them though. 😉 Find them on her store here!
Don’t forget that today is the last day to enter for BIBPC! 😀
K.A. and I made a coloring contest! The coloring pages are due by the same day as the BIBPC photos are, so you could post both of them at once. 😉 Read about it on the post HERE!
And also, here is some news!
- For those of you who are participating in BIBPC, Shannon is now joining team Tulip! Shelby might be joining team Rose. 😀
- There’s a really neat blog right here that is having a thing where you can enter to see if you can do a guest post on her blog! See her post on it here. 😀
- Clementine has decided she will skip January’s diary entry. 😉
