I have finally gotten around to writing the tale of Humphrey. It is very tragic though, so beware.
Hello! Today I have one of my favorite cookie recipes. My brother found the original recipe in an old cookbook (see it here on Amazon) and modified it a bit.
Time for another extremely random post!
I have decided to do this award that Josie nominated me for. 😀
I decided to make my own button. 😀
Also, I will be using lots of GIFs for this post. 🙂
Here are some of the things I got … around 20 days late. 😄
Everybody should know this – I’m not bragging. I wasn’t going to say that because I was pretty sure you already knew that, but since all the other bloggers are, I guess I better put it on.
I will start with all my stocking stuff. (Warning, a lot of yumminess!)
Some of the things are truffles, nail polish, Nutella, lotion, markers, earrings, and lots of candy. 😛 Grammy and Grandaddy gave us both bags full of stuff and stockings! 🙂
I also got these MukLuks (which I am wearing right now) from Grammy and Grandaddy.
They also gave me this lamp,
and some bandanas which I hope to make a quilt with (no, there is no picture).
My parents gave me this cute little hedgehog:
They also gave Allison (my sister) and I a big pack of Sculpey! We’ve been making a bunch of things out of it.
For our all-together gift, my parents gave us kids a huge wooden sled! It can hold about three ‘big kids’ and is made out of maple wood. Now all we need is some snow…. 😀
My aunt and uncle and cousins gave me a big pack a sharpies and a wooden M. This is what I did with it.
My cousin gave me a big box that was made out of Kit-Kat packs. Inside was a $20 gift card to Hobby Lobby! This is a little bit the Kit-Kat box looked like…
I found this picture on Pinterest, but it didn’t have a link.
My grandma gave me some socks, a chocolate bar, and another 20 dollar gift card! Here is some things I bought with it.
I got other things too, but I don’t have pictures and I think I covered most of it. 😉
I sledded down our stairs on a sleeping bag. 😄
The past two months we have been doing a brownie stand off and on. We sell the brownies by our dirt road. And yes, we have sold brownies to more then just family and friends. We have got around $100 off of our Brownie Stand. Me, my two cousins, and my sister usually do the brownie stand, although originally just me and my younger brother did it. While doing the brownie stand, I have learned the recipe by heart. Eggs, sugar, salt, vanilla, cocoa powder, flour, and…. Uh, well okay, I guess I didn’t learn the whole recipe by heart. Butter! That’s it! Ha! I do know the recipe by heart. Anyway, we have bought a big tube for the pool, ingredients for coffee, ingredients for brownies, and ingredients for lemonade with the money. We are thinking about donating some to a charity.
Here are a few pictures of the Brownie stand.
Apparently Allison does not quite know what I’m doing!
The sign for the Brownie stand.
Here are pictures of the ice coffee and brownies. We had lemonade, but I didn’t get a picture.
The day I took these pictures we only sold brownies to one customer. Thankfully we had some entertainment.
So, now you know about The Brownie Stand!
Allison, my cousin Leisha, and I made up this recipe. It works best with fresh raspberries but frozen ones work fine. We have a big black raspberry patch and we have picked 3 gallons in 2 pickings. The first time we made smoothies. Next we made ice cream and bars. Here’s the recipe.
I hope you like it! We did!
