Hello! Today I’m going to be going over how I make clay inchworms, and I’ll show you a couple that I’ve made recently. 🙂 Making clay inchworms is rather a strange hobby for sure, but I enjoy it a lot.
I tried a project a few days ago, and I’m going to make it into a Work or Fail episode. 🙂 Continue reading “Will it Work or Fail? ~ Episode 2”
Hello all you artists!
Today I have some fun, simple, and beautiful art inspiration for you guys.
I got an old book at my Grandma’s that she didn’t want, and I used it to make some art.
For my first ATC, I cut out the shape of a book and glued it to an ATC that I had colored yellow. Then I outlined the cut-out, and added the word ‘Books’ and some swirls.
For my second one I cut a page from the book into multiple strips and glued them all crisscross to my blank ATC.
Next I flipped the ATC over and cut off the parts that were sticking off of it.
After that, I outlined the pieces in Sharpie. Ta-da!
Then I made one more. For this one, I started by drawing polka dots all over my ATC with an orange Sharpie.
Then I cut a squiggle shape out of a page of the book and glued that in the center of my card.
I outlined my squiggle in Sharpie and added an extra detail or two.
Book collage ATCs are really fun to make, and I love the result! You could also use a sheet from a piano book to make an ATC.
Have fun making art!
This afternoon I brought a pencil, paper, and some markers up to my room and sketched a few things.
I have some photos of decorated envelopes that I’ve made. 😀 I was inspired to make decorated from The Art Lab. 🙂
There you go! Do you like decorating envelopes? 😀
I came up with an idea, what if I do posts where I come up with a project to make, and then I’ll take pictures as I go along. Then I’ll tell you what I made (or tried to make), show you a poll in which you can say whether you think it will work or fail. I’ll put the pictures I took in the post, and then say if it worked or failed! Continue reading “Will it Work or Fail? ~Episode 1”
I finally got a inchworm tutorial up. In this one you get to…
I feel like I haven’t posted a part in awhile, so here you are! 😀
|Go HERE to see the PREVIOUS 6 parts, then come back! :)|
Inchy B soared up towards the ceiling and looked down at Itchy who looked like a… very small inchworm. The Land of the Clay Creatures was small as well.
She flew out into the hall and onto a Thing. She pulled out her Inchworm Encyclopedia (which was very hard to do seeing as she didn’t have any pockets) and paged through it.
“Aha!” she cried, spying a picture that looked like the Thing, “this must be a banystar! And those wiggly things must be sta-ears, or do you say it stairs?”
Inchy B decided it wasn’t worth pondering over so she took off and flew up the Sta-ears.
After much flapping Inchy B the Pegaworm got tired. Her wings started aching and her balance began to get off. She veered over to the edge and landed on the ‘banystar.’
“I’ve come a long way,” Inchy B said to the air. “Air, do you think I should stop here or go further.”
Air did not answer, but Inchy B’s wings were feeling better so she decided to take off once again.
The sun was beginning to set. Inchy B thought she must look quite beautiful flying towards the sun. She wasn’t quite sure why it wasn’t hot, but she didn’t mind it being a little cool.
She turned a bit and came into light again.
“Wow, I must have flown a whole day! It felt like two minutes. Ah, how time marches on,” thought Inchy B as she flew into the light room.
She was heading towards a big creature when something caught her eye. She whirled to the left and landed on a white Chunk of Wood.
“White Wiggling Worms!” cried Inchy B, “there’s tons of ’em!”
WordPress changed the smileys. 😥 HOW HORRIBLE.
Goodbye! Have fun waiting for the next part! 🙂
Whew! It’s kind of hard to think about all of the details for BIBPC, but I think I can manage. XD
Hey guys! Today I have six more of my little clay inchworms to show you. 🙂
I also have a magician inchworm, but unfortunately I forgot to take a photo of him! I’ll have to do him in another group of inchies. 😉 Continue reading “Six More Inchworms (and a Piggy)”
Some of you probably know that I enjoy making things out of polymer clay. 🙂 One of the first things I made was and inchworm with a top hat. Then I decided to make another! And another, and another…
Anyway! I decided to share some of them with you. They are posted in order, so this one below is the first one I made. I’m afraid he’s rather linty… XD
Here’s the second one! 😀
And the third… XD It’s a little hard to tell what this is, but she’s, as my little sister says, Worm Elsa! 😛
Here is the Book Worm. Hehe!
I have many more. Let’s see, I have a baby inchworm, twin inchworms, an inchworm walking his pet snail, and a few others! 😀 But since I haven’t taken pictures of them yet, you’ll have to do with these four. 😉
Do you want to see more clay inchworms?
You can be thankful I made an inchworm, otherwise you wouldn’t have Inchy B! XD
