[UPDATE: Cut+Paste is now live on Kickstarter!]
Hey hey hey!
I’m back with another business! If you remember the “Megan started a business after she had too much caffeine” line, it’s probably because you’re thinking of Penelope Feather.
But yes, it’s true. I had too much caffeine a couple of weeks ago. I came up with a business idea. Four hours later I had gone through a brainstorming session with my friend Clara, worked on branding and other graphic design, and formed a whole business plan.
Coffee is a wonderful thing!
This business is a little more than a business though, and I’m super excited about it. It’s really a whole project dedicated to supporting artists and creatives through the form of a magazine made to be used, not just looked at.

Cut + Paste will be an art, design, and photography magazine filled with media to inspire its “readers”. Only there won’t really be anything to read since it’s 99% visual.
The high-quality prints in this magazine will be made to be cut out and framed, put in your journal, used for wrapping paper⦠you name it.
This project is made to support artists, photographers, and designers. Itβs a tangible bundle of inspiration & beauty delivered to your doorstep. Itβs more than a magazine.

Right now I’m collecting submissions for a small batch of sample magazines that we’ll be using in marketing and in our Kickstarter video. If you’re an artist, photographer, or designer, please check out the submissions page here! And if you want to help this get started on the funding side, I have a GoFundMe set up for that. You can get one of the sample issues when you donate $20 or more, but any amount helps! And if you just want to follow along and keep up with this new venture of mine, here is the Cut+Paste instagram page.
I think this could be a really unique and beautiful magazine and I’m looking forward to watching it grow and support so many different creators!
Let me know what you think about this magazine, and if you have any questions I’ll do my best to answer them. Also yes I’m still doing Peach & Poppy Co, don’t worry. I’m just a compulsive business-starter-upper I suppose. π
Tinkerty-tonk,
Megan

Huzzah! I’m so happy you do! It’ll probably be a little on the pricier side (although I don’t keep up with magazines that well so I don’t know for sure haha), probably $20ish a month.
Thanks so much for commenting, I’m so excited you’re excited! π
