In Which We Do Another Sunflower Golden Hour Photoshoot

Hello everyone!

Guess what! It’s been exactly a year since the last photoshoot, which was a titled “Sunflower at Golden Hour“! I didn’t even plan this! It’s very exciting, obviously.

Anyway, yes. I’m here and I have a sisters photoshoot to show you! Some hunters asked Dad to plant a wildlife patch for them, and there are a lot of sunflowers in it which are currently happily blooming. Allison and I headed out a few evenings ago to do a photoshoot we’ve been anticipating ever since we knew Dad was going to plant sunflowers.

Allison took the pictures of me, I took the ones of her. I think she’s planning to post her favorites tomorrow! So check out her blog to see which ones she liked best, and how she edited them.

Here are the ones I liked best! But no invisible cookies this time sadly.

Quick behind the scenes picture of me attempting to get earrings in! I wear them like thrice a year so it’s a struggle. This is when I got one in I think. XD

Fun fact: those tall weeds you can see in the background are a kind of pigweed called Palmer which are awful and really hard to get rid of. *shakes head sadly*

I didn’t actually pick this sunflower I’m reaching for. For those of you who have seen the SBG trailer, you might know that my flower picking skills aren’t super photogenic.

I think this might be my favorite from the ones of me!

Jumping photogenically is pretty difficult too! There’s so much to keep track of – facial expression, legs, arms, and even sunflowers here. Phew!

Fields with tallish crops aren’t the best for twirling but it still turned out pretty good! I love the sun on her dress.

Sorry guys, I do mostly portrait pictures when I do photoshoots. Not great for laptop viewing, but oh well.

I wish this wasn’t as blurry, but I love the little bit of sun shining through the petals onto her face.

That’s all for now! That was a fun photoshoot. No yellow clothes, shockingly enough, but plenty of sunflower to make up for that. It was fun to do another sister’s photoshoot, we hadn’t done one in ages!
