Hello everyone!

GUESS WHAT! If you haven’t already guessed, then you need to read titles more often. But YES, I now have a DSLR camera and I love it so much! I’ve had a lot of fun taking pictures recently with it. I don’t have a very wonderful lens yet, so taking pictures in places with bad lighting is tough, but it’s still so much nicer than my other camera!

It’s a Nikon d3400, I think this is the same one on Amazon. (<– affiliate link :))

When I first got it it had some strange settings so my first picture was just a blur, but then I reset it and took more pictures, mainly of daisies. Unfortunately they weren’t in JPG format and it’s a bit tedious to change them over to that, but I did change a few of my favorites into a see-able format. πŸ˜€ After that I changed it to JPG which is much easier.

Not the most amazing photo, but does anyone know what kind of flower this is? They’re super tiny and all over our yard and I’m trying to figure out what they are.

  7. OHHH you’re sooo lucky! Can you guess what camera I have?!?!?! An iPhone SE “camera.” I do sooo much photography on my phone. I need an actual camera so bad xD
I mean, it’s not really bad quality, just harder to focus a lot.

  11. My father gave me a Canon PowerShot SX 110. It has a 10X optical zoom, 9.0 megapixels, a flip flash, and numerous settings for taking pictures close up, in a distance, and in different lighting. I really enjoy it. It’s a digital camera. I’ve never used any other type. What’s it like having one like yours? I don’t know a lot about the ones that require attachments for distance or macro. I just use a cord to get the pictures onto the computer. You take very good pictures. I enjoy your posts. I like taking pictures of both garden and wildflowers. They both come in great variety and are both beautiful creations.

    1. That sounds like a great camera! My type of camera does require attachments, but even with the kit lens (the lens it comes with) it takes great photos. A big difference most people notice quickly (or at least what I noticed) is the aperture, which is the focus part that give it a nice glowy, blurry background. You can also adjust it in a lot more ways like lighting and how blurry fast-moving objects will be.
Thank you, I’m glad you enjoyed my photos! Thanks for leaving a comment!
