I HAVE A DSLR!

Hello everyone!

GUESS WHAT! If you haven’t already guessed, then you need to read titles more often. But YES, I now have a DSLR camera and I love it so much! I’ve had a lot of fun taking pictures recently with it. I don’t have a very wonderful lens yet, so taking pictures in places with bad lighting is tough, but it’s still so much nicer than my other camera!

It’s a Nikon d3400, I think this is the same one on Amazon. (<– affiliate link :))

When I first got it it had some strange settings so my first picture was just a blur, but then I reset it and took more pictures, mainly of daisies. Unfortunately they weren’t in JPG format and it’s a bit tedious to change them over to that, but I did change a few of my favorites into a see-able format. πŸ˜€ After that I changed it to JPG which is much easier.

Not the most amazing photo, but does anyone know what kind of flower this is? They’re super tiny and all over our yard and I’m trying to figure out what they are.

This little ladybug crawled around on this daisy for a while.

And last but not least, an obligatory dslr selfie! Featuring Maggie patiently waiting for me to continue driving the Mule.

  3. YAY YAY YAY! This was a great post! Ellington says hello to your camera. I tried to go through and pick favorite photos but then I found myself picking almost all of them, so… I loved all the photos in this post! πŸ˜€ It’s neat that you had Allison’s DSLR to practice on so you already knew how to use a DSLR when you got yours! I’m afraid my first photos weren’t near as nice. XD
I can’t wait to see more photos! Oh, and I would say that I like wildflowers better than garden flowers, because I usually appreciate flowers more when I don’t expect to see them. πŸ™‚
