Happy Easter!

Hello everyone! I hope you all are having a wonderful Easter Sunday. To celebrate this great day I’ve collected some bible verses to share with you.

Easter is such a glorious holiday! I’m looking forward to celebrating it today and singing Easter hymns in our church. Here are some lines of a few of my favorite:

No human could ever work hard enough to save themselves from their sin, but we don’t have to for God sent Jesus Christ, his son, to die the horrible death of crucifixion and redeem us. Like Isaiah prophesied, he was pierced for our transgressions.  But Jesus didn’t stay dead.

God raised him up, loosing the pangs of death, because it was not possible for him to be held by it.

Acts 2:24

And as the hymn says:

“‘Welcome happy morning!’ age to age shall say: hell today is vanquished; heav’n is won today. Lo! the Dead is living, God forevermore! Him, their true Creator, all his works adore.”

Welcome happy morning indeed!

  2. Happy Easter, Megan! ❤ I hope you have a wonderful day. This post was so awesome to read and I loved all of the beautiful verses and song lyrics. Isaiah 53:3 is probably one of my favorite verses of all time. Jesus underwent the ultimate suffering so that we could have the ultimate gift. It's so amazing to think about. 🙂
