Black & White Bovine

Hello everyone! I hope you’re having a good Tuesday.

As I was typing the title I realized that our bovine are naturally black and white, but the cows I’ll be showing you today are actually some cows that just moved to our farm and are not black and white, although the pictures are.

The lighting wasn’t the best, so I decided to (mostly) fix that problem by making the pictures black and white.

I named this cow Lecrae.

The smaller cows were all clustered in a group.

I think my brother named this one Einstein, but I’m not sure.

This cow has a heart on its forehead! 🙂

This is the huge burly bull we named Ferdinand.

Our Holsteins are bigger than him I think, but compared to the other cows he looks massive! He’s so chunky.

Here Lecrae (at least I think it’s Lecrae. It might be Gwain) is licking the grazing Ferdinand.

And finally the prettiest of them all: Rainbow. She looks almost like a deer!

She’s trying to peer over Ferdinand’s untidy mop of hair.

That’s the end of the black and white pictures, but I do have a few colored pictures that I took with Allison’s dSLR (and are thus much better quality).

He’s sticking his tongue out a bit in this next one.

I’m not sure if the names on their tags is what they are actually named. If that is the case then this one is Vesper. And Ferdinand is technically Nutmeg.

These cows aren’t actually ours. Their owner is just renting a pasture from us for her herd. But they are so cute! 😀
