Blossoms

Like you probably already know from the title, today I have some pictures of flowers thatΒ I took a few days ago. The lighting was kinda harsh for some of these pictures, but I think most of them turned out well.

To start with, here are some clustered bellflowers.

Look! It’s a baby praying mantis.

Next up are some pretty dark pink peonies. These might be my favorite photos of the bunch.

Okay, actually maybe these pictures are my favorite. πŸ™‚ I think it’s called Japanese meadowsweet or Japanese spiraea. It’s a really pretty flower that grows on a bush in our flowerbed.

I have no idea what these flowers are. I looked for a long time, but to no avail. Does anyone know?

I also climbed up our dogwood tree, only to find that the flowers weren’t that pretty. But seeing as I went to all the work to get these pictures, I decided to post them anyway. (I also almost fell out of the tree into a spiky bush. I’m not a fan of that spiky bush.)

I took some pictures of the petunias in Mom’s hanging flower basket and tried out some different angles.

And finally, here are two rose pictures I took. Most of them weren’t very good, but these two were alright.

And that’s all! I love flowers. πŸ™‚ If I had to choose a ‘realistic’ dream job (yeah, that’s kind of an oxymoron) it would probably be working in a greenhouse or plant nursery.

favorite photo?

  2. I loved so many of those pictures I lost count of which ones they were πŸ˜‰ I’m pretty sure we used to have those flowers on our old land; my Mom knows what they’re called, but I forgot! I’m sure it’s on the tip of my tongue. πŸ˜› They remind me of some flowers in the Philippines.

Yeah, that’s true. I searched up the flower I was talking about and it doesn’t look quite as similar now that I saw it again πŸ˜›
