The Adventures of Inchy B {Part 15}

(See the other parts of Inchy B here)

Flashback from the end of Part 14:

On the Melter and Boiler there was… nothing. No pan with inchworms waiting for her.

Nothing.

Inchy B was speechless. She stared at the Melter and Boiler in a daze. Where could the inchworms have gone? They told her that they would wait until she got back.

Inchy B’s creative juices were as thick as mud at that moment, so when she heard something, her mind could hardly tell her what it was. Foot… feet… foots…

Inchy B furrowed her brow (quite a feat for inchworms) and shook her head. Steps! Footsteps! Footsteps = human! HIDE.

Finally her creative juices started rushing around in her brain again. A human was coming!

Inchy B backed into a corner just as the human stomped into the kitchen. She was holding a small baking tile in one hand. On the tile were a few clay items. Inchy B noticed (with relief) that there were no worms about to go into the Bake.

The human opened the Bake’s door. She was about to put the tile with the clay items in it, when she noticed something. Inchy B heard her utter something in the language of the Humans. It sounded like “hmmm”. Inchy B gasped as the human picked up Albert and looked at him.

Shrugging, the human stomped away noisily, carrying the albino inchworm along with her.

Inchy B didn’t stop to think. She did think, but she didn’t stop, because she hadn’t been moving before. She went over her options.

Option 1, I could stay here and be safe, but then I probably would never find Albert and the others. Or, option 2, I could follow the human and risk being seen. But maybe she’ll lead me to the other worms.

Inchy B decided on option 2. She flapped her small clay  wings and rose into the air. Then she veered slightly and went out of the Room of the Bake, in the direction that the human had gone.

The human was much faster than inchworms, even if Inchy B was a pegaworm. When Inchy B got to the next room, the human was out of sight. Restraining the tears, Inchy B clumsily flopped down onto a nearby bookshelf to rest and think.

But she had only wondered if chickens had clear eyelids before she heard footsteps again. The human came around a corner and walked away, still carrying Albert.

Yay! INCHY B IS BAAACK!

I finally know what the rest of Inchy B is going to be like! XD Up until now I didn’t really have a certain plot. But now I know what it’s going to be like. JUST THREE MORE PARTS, guys! (Or maybe even two! It depends on how many pictures I need to take to describe it well. 😉 )

  1. Ooh! I like your autumn-y design. Where did you get your background image? 😀
YAY INCHY! I hope Albert is okay. XD
A club in the attic? That sound so fun…. we can’t even go in our attic because it isn’t safe. 😥

  2. GO INCHY! Poor Albert. He’s probably scared out of his little clay mind! 😦 XD

P.S. Wow, you’ve been really tag active lately XD It’s like the new form of secret messages! Oooh, The Club with a smiley face logo. Yes, very creative! (It does sound like fun, though!)
P.P.S. Just thought I’d add, I read if their are more than 15 tags, then your post might not show up on tag listings, because they don’t want irrelevant posts showing up. Thought I’d tell you, in case you wanted to know. 🙂

P.S. Indeed I have! XD Yep, they are like a separate secret message. 🙂
P.P.S. Oh, I didn’t know that! Okay! Thanks for telling me. 🙂 On my more in-important posts I’ll do lots of tags, and then on my posts I put more work into, I’ll do less. 😉
