Rooms Re-Done, Part 1

Hello everyone!

I don’t know if you remember, but awhile back I said that we were re-painting our rooms. They are painted! They look so much better. Soon we can go to Hobby Lobby to find treasures to beautify our room.

Here’s the first part of doing it!

This is how part of the room looked before. A little clashy, yes.

Our wallpaper… eh.

And then we stripped off all of the wallpaper, scraped of the stubborn remains, and plastered the walls. I wish I would have gotten a few more pictures in between the before picture and this one, but oh well!

It was not fun to sand of the plaster. We had to take sheets of sandpaper and go over all of the walls by hand. My arms got rather tired doing this, and white plaster dust was everywhere. It even went out the door and into the hall. And not to mention all over us.

I went outside for a small break, and I was like, “Wow! There’s even dust going before me.” And then I realized that my glasses had dust all over them. XD

Then after the sanding we got to paint! Boofur! Thanks for reading the first part of this, and stay tuned for part two. 😛
