The Adventures of Inchy B {Part 12}

Hello.

It might rain today. Sigh. I don’t like rain.

Anyway, let’s get on with part 12! If you haven’t seen the other parts, go HERE. Oh, in this part you learn how much Inchy B weighs. Yes, that is the correct weight.

Inchy B glanced around for something that could hold the creative juices. She found a clear round thingymabop and towed it over to the pile of creative juices.  Then she pushed a glob of colors into the container. This was hard work, for Inchworms don’t have hands, and Inchy B wasn’t made with much of a mouth.

At last there was a big pile of creative juices sitting in the thingymabop. Inchy B flew up and landed on the pile, trying to squish it down to size so that she could fit the lid on it. This failed, however, because Inchy B only weighs 2 grams.

Then she put the lid on top of the heap, flew up a foot into the air, and dived back down. The creative juices squished down and stayed down.

Now Inchy B could rescue all the worms! She clamped her stickiness onto the lid and flew into the air, up to the inchworms.

That is, she flew until she lost her grip, and then the container fell to the ground and the creativeness scattered everywhere.

“No, no, no, no!” cried Inchy B. She flew back down and picked up the pieces. Soon they were all back in, but she still didn’t know how she was going to get the container to the other baked worms. She needed something sticky.

She flew up onto a thing (Inchy B was fairly sure it was a toothcomb) and looked around. Then her eye fell on a bottle that said “Elmer’s School Glue.”

Then she flew onto the bottle, looking it over. It seemed like it would work!

“I hope Elmer won’t mind, because I’m going to use his glue.” She said.
