A Slushee and Sun

1.jpg

Hey everyone!

I think it might be going to stay warm at last. The first week of march nearly got to the 80s, but then a few weeks ago we had SNOW. That was horrible. Let’s just forget all about that though, and think of pools and flowers and…slushees.

I got a slushee maker from Target a year or two ago and basically you just stick it in the freezer for about 8 hourse,  pour in some sort of liquid (preferably an edible sot), squeeze the sides, and drink/eat it! 😛

I slurped on that while I walked to the barn where I took my new and updated profile photo. I also took one of me with my slushee, but I didn’t think that was the best one for a profile photo. xD

Dandelions are EVERYWHERE! Close to field there’s this huge patch that had gone to seed.

I think about the highest temperature it got yesterday was 82 degrees Fahrenheit.

The boys are mowing. We have acres of grass to mow so we don’t just have a little riding mower, we have a Ventrac. Yeah. Mm-hmm. It’s great. XD xD

The frogs are everywhere in the creek! I splashed down to a certain part one time and nearly five of them plunked into the water.

Yesterday my sister and I took a 25 minute walk to our grandma’s house to take pictures of her flowering almond. And then we walked back. It was hot and I had just played Gaga ball on a trampoline the night before so my legs were so achy…. ah. Good times.

GUYS GUYS. THERE ARE LEAVES ON THE TREES. I love the new bright green leaves that are popping out on our maples. 🙂

Barefeet and swings… what luxury.

It’s so…. GREEN! 😀 Don’t you love warmth? xD

Is it warm where you live? Is it green?

Fahrenheit is such a hard word to spell. Why couldn’t it be spelled Farenhite? That makes so much more sense. 😛

    1. Yeah… our creek is really tiny, but we do have frogs I guess, so it’s alright. 😛

  4. It is very warm where I am! And green! I actually just got back from the park with my brother. *Pants in exhaustion* We raced to and from the park. *Falls flat on face, sleeping*

  5. I really enjoyed reading this post! It’s quite warm here, too, but unfortunately most of the trees are still bare. :/ The grass is all green though, and it’s pretty long! XP
I just wish that my bedroom would warm up-it’s like 65 degrees downstairs!

P.S. Yes, barefeet are the best. I basically always go barefoot unless I’m wearing sneakers to play basketball or something! 🙂

  6. It looks real nice there! It’s hot and sunny here too, but the trees are still REALLY bare! We just have to look down at the nice green grass. XD

  7. Hooray for spring! That happened to us too…it was super warm and then it snowed! WAH!!! (I despise winter)

  8. GREEN!!!!!!!!! Spring is my favorite season!!! I think it got to about 80 here a few days ago. I love it though!! I’d MUCH rather be hot then cold. I live in a valley, in the midst of a ton of white pine trees, so I don’t notice much of a difference unless I go find the deciduous trees and look for leaves. XD 😛

  9. Awesome! Yeah, mine’s not really huge, but we’re surrounded by hills, and there’s a creek real close to our house. It’s pretty big, probably… Thirty feet across? But it’s not very deep, probably three-and-a-half feet at the deepest. Maggie is so cute!!
