The Adventures of Inchy B {Part 2}

*crowd cheering* YAY! PART TWO! Heh. heh.

After a long, hard, journey, Inchy B had finally reached Mt. Cellophane. It was so beautiful Inchy B could have cried. But she didn’t, because she was clay. Plus, water would probably do something drastic to her complexion.

She was exploring the colors when she found something that made her gasp.

“It’s my mother-color!” she said, her voice catching as she looked lovingly at her mother-color. It was named ‘516’.

“I will never forget you, 516,” Inchy told it.

She explored for a bit and then found a piece of blue clay that was already smooth! She was about to take it when she remembered something Itchy had said.

“If something’s already made, leave it be,” those were Itchy’s solemn words.

Itchy sighed. She went back to the mountain and grabbed a blob of purple. Then she trotted back to Itchy.

They journey was shorter this time, and it only took three minutes instead of four. Itchy was relieved to see that Inchy B had gotten back with only a little bit of lint added to her.

“But hun, that’s no accessory! That’s what we call a ‘Shapeless Blob’,” Itchy informed her.

“I was thinking you might… perhaps… help me think of something?” Inchy B asked hopefully.

“Darlin’,” Itchy said, “Have you noticed that I’m a little tough and hard? It’s because I don’t have Creative Juices. I just don’t,” she looked mournfully into Inchy B’s eyes.

Thankfully, Inchy B did have Creative Juices. She got her Shapeless Blob and rolled it out into a thin log-shaped piece. Then in trade for getting the scratchy tool for Itchy, she got help for getting the log (which was a belt) around her middle.

“I have an Accessory!” Inchy B cried.

Itchy groaned some approveals while scratching, “the perfect (oooohhh) color for, (aahhhh) you,” she said.

“But alas, I can not see myself!” Inchy B mourned.

Itchy rose and pointed to another direction.

“The Land of Your Other Self,” she said, “that is where you must go.”

Inchy B looked to see where she was pointing.

There was a doorway with a suspicious looking horse head peeking out of it.

“I know you can make it, dearie. Take courage!” Itchy said, looking fondly at the little inchworm.

“I’ll buy you a postcard!” Inchy yelled as she started on another (much longer) journey.
