Room Tour

ToΒ start with… Oh bother. I’m going to post this post later. I need to take more pictures. :\ Well, see you in, uh, when you read this there will be words right down there, but seeing as I’m gonna leave this go and take pictures, I’ll see you either later on today, or tomorrow.

I’m back. πŸ™‚

First, let’s start with our reading nook.

We have the reading chair,

The lamp,

Of course, a reading nook must have books:

And I got this hedgehog from Mom and Dad for Christmas. I am using it as our mascot.

We also have Allison’s AG doll, McKenna, in front of these nice flower decals.

Some other decals in our room are our (erm, Allison’s) bird decals. We bought all of our decals at Hobby Lobby (β™₯β™₯β™₯). Some are mirrored and I found out that it looks really neat if you do this-

Allison cut out around the black line that was left over, so we have these too. ↓

We saved some to place around the room in little corners like they are below.

Moving on to the dresser..

Look! It’s Walter!

My special (A.K.A. catch-all) box, a photo cube, our loud alarm clock, a little Russian doll, and a picture of me and Allison a long time ago.

And Allison’s corner of stuff.

DSCN1121 (1024x768)

We also laid some patterned bandanas on top.

DSCN1123 (1024x768)

Around the head of my bed are some lights, and a Creation Mueseum postcard.

DSCN1112 (1024x768)

A wooden M that I sharpied.

DSCN1113 (1024x768)

My nightstand…

DSCN1124 (1024x768)
Eh. Blurry picture. 😐

On our mantle we have more birds. This is my clump,

DSCN1101 (1024x768)

DSCN1096 (1024x768)

And our necklace holder.

DSCN1098 (1024x768)

Below our mantle is Clementine. Not the real Clementine, but a clay replica of my rabbit who is named Clementine.

I think that’s all… I replaced this on my poll with something else, you can check it out HERE!

Farewell, dear readers.

I made an inchworm Elsa out of clay. XD

      1. I know! And It’s kind of poohie that it’s about Lydia in middle school. But maybe it will be cool–cause some of them would be married!! Ooooooh

      2. Yeah.. Oh really? I didn’t know that! Hmm. Ben will be in high school and Rosalind will be about…. 😐 math.. SHE COULD BE FROM 27-30!! What?! And Skye and Jeffery… AGH! It’s too long to wait! πŸ˜› I wonder if Jane will have married anyone. πŸ˜•

      3. I didn’t see that information myself–my sister (also a penderwicks fan) found that online somewhere. I KNOW! OH MY WORD!! WHAT IF JEFFRY AND SKYE ARE MARRIED!! OR ENGAGED!! It will be so weird!!!! Will Jane be published? This will be so different!! I’m so excited!!

      4. I read part of the second Penderwicks book a few years ago and really liked it.
Really enjoyed the room tour, Megan! That lamp in your reading book is so cool. πŸ™‚

  1. What a nice room! I love the theme. My favorite part is the reading nook. πŸ˜‰ I have a little bowl chair as well in the corner of my room. It also serves as my reading chair. πŸ˜›

  2. You have a Creation Museum postcard! That’s really cool. I do have a Creation Museum pin. πŸ™‚ Are you going to the Ark Encounter when it opens?
