Ode to Tissues
By Megan
Tissues are nice an soft,
Tissues are kind and light,
But do we care one little bit?
No! Poor tissue, we don’t care about it.
The tissue is soft to the touch,
But that doesn’t amount to much,
When we have a cold, and need him most,
I’m sure the tissue finds us a MOST unpleasant host.
So that is my ode to the tissue,
And I am sure the tissue would kiss you
If you’d stop by his box once in awhile,
And flash him him a big kindhearted smile.
I love this! I didn’t know you were so clever and witty, Megan! Who would ever think of writing a poem about a tissue!

Thanks! I thought it up while doing math and then perfected it. I actually recited it for my speech class!
